Sichuan-Guangxi International Production Capacity Cooperation Industrial Park project is a strategic platform for comprehensive cooperation between Sichuan and Guangxi, an important pivot for the two regions to build the New Western Land-Sea Corridor and a core carrier for participating in the development of China-ASEAN cooperation. The project is located in China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park, sitting at the core area of Qinzhou Port Area of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, with a total investment of 2.4 billion yuan and coverage of 566 mu. It is invested and constructed by Guangxi Chuangui International Investment Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by Chengdu, Yibin and Luzhou of Sichuan and Qinzhou of Guangxi. It is committed to improving the gathering of advantageous industries, coordination in resources in Sichuan and Guangxi, comprehensive supply-chain services, and international two-way investment cooperation level. The project will build a high-quality new industrial community in three phases according to the concept of industry-city integration, workplace-residence balance, complete functions and supporting facilities. The first phase of the project will absorb an investment of 826 million yuan to build the Sichuan-Guangxi ASEAN Center, supply chain center, pilot incubation center, investment promotion center, talent center and supporting commercial street.
Recently, Tan Pichuang led a team to Huizhou Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone, and conducted an inspection about industrial development. They learned about the advanced theories and experience in petrochemical development and electronic information, and communicated with Liu Xiaojun, Member of Standing Committee of the CPC Huizhou Municipal Committee.
Tan Pichuang said that through this inspection, they learned about not only the great achievements in industrial development and urban construction, but also the advanced theories and experience in petrochemical park orientation, industrial cluster and leading enterprise cluster. Currently, there were some same problems for both cities in insufficient space and limited environment capacity. He hoped that both sides could deepen exchange and communication to find out better ways to solve the problems.
